Jaymie’s Story
What started as a cold Facebook DM from Jaymie, quickly evolved into a life-changing dynamic for Ewelina and her business. Jaymie supported studio domka with its early-stage growth for nearly 18 months, working intimately with Ewelina on both a personal and professional level through a 1:1 coaching container. When Jaymie inquired about branding support from studio domka, it was a most kismet and symbiotic exchange. The process that unfolded resulted in a powerful discovery of Jaymie’s inherent magic and a beautiful identity with a perfect balance of edge and softness. The final visual result: a lovely serif wordmark with a script letter customization and unique sacred geometry-inspired icon, representing the heartfelt transformational coaching that Jaymie lives and breathes through her work.

PROCESS
A visual identity connecting sacred geometry, feminine power, and individual transformation
When powerful concepts like geometry, femininity, and change emerge from the brand strategy process, the visual design journey that follows can feel nearly effortless (at least that’s how we felt when working with Jaymie). The brand mark options where a lovely amalgamation of these notions and more, resulting in a beautiful array of symmetrical icons to represent Jaymie’s transformative work in the world with her clients.

The HomeComings Podcast
“Watching people find hope has been the most beautiful encounter for me because it makes everything I’ve experienced in my life make sense. There’s a level of strength that you have to have to come out on the other side with joy.”
At 21 years old, as a single mom to two kids and only $48 to her name, Jaymie Gerena reached her rock bottom low. In her surrender moment to God as she sat crying on her apartment floor, she googled “How to be happy” — and it was in that moment that her transformation journey began. She discovered Tony Robbins and fell into the world of personal development, digesting every book, article, podcast, workshop she could find in an effort to truly find that happiness she was searching for. From those deep life lows came Jaymie’s process of reconnecting with herself and her purpose — now supporting other humans with their own transformations through her powerful coaching business. Jaymie joins Ewelina to share her inspiring story and discuss the ways in which we can sabotage ourselves through our unconscious mind, how to meet ourselves to overcome our biggest obstacles in life and the impact that serving others has had on her own life.
